So today saw five of the clubs archers competing in York on the first day of a three day competition.
Rhys Moore lead the way for the senior’s in some very changeable conditions missing a Master Bowman score by one point with a 1310, David Moore had a difficult day at 90 metres which left him playing catch-up on 1275. Ethan Moore finished the day with a 1226, but he shot a new PB at 50 metre’s.
On the recurve side, Josh Trafford also struggled with the conditions at 90 & 70 but finished the day on 1006. Tilly Ashton was shooting her first event in her new age group which included the longer distance of 40 metre’s, her score for the day was 1108 which gives her a junior bowman score straight out.
