York Double WA1440: Day Two

Today saw the second day of the double WA1440 at York. Tilly Ashton shooting the new longer distances having gone up an age group posted PB’s at every distance giving her a score of 1181 for the day and a new club record by 47 points along with a Junior Master Bowman classification. Tilly also won second place for the two day double for her round.
Josh Trafford was slightly down on yesterday’s score but still collected the win for the double and single gents under 18 WA1440.

Rhys Moore was again in the 1300 ‘s but again fell just short of collecting his third Master Bowman classification buy 4 points having had a difficult start to his 90 metre round. He was fourth overall on day one, but final results are awaited tomorrow for final placing’s.

Ethan Moore improved on yesterday’s scores at 90 & 70 but struggled at 50 metres just missing out on a bowman ranking.

David Moore also had a difficult 90 & 50 and was about 20 points down on yesterday’s scores. Tilly Ashton and Dave Berry head home on the overnight boat tonight, leaving four club members to shoot the double 720 round scheduled for Monday. The forecast is for much better weather.
