Meriden Archery Double WA1440

Three archers travelled away to shoot the Double WA1440 at Meriden this weekend.

Day one saw Rhys Moore shoot the highest score of the three archers with 1319, but more importantly achieved his 3rd world record status master bowman score to solidify his classification for the year. Ethan having not shot much in the previous month only managed 1263 and David ran into equipment issues and finished with 1262.

The weather on day two was less favourable as it was cold and drizzled rain most of the day. Unfortunately the equipment issue the day before meant there would be no shooting for David. Despite the weather, both Rhys and Ethan secured better scores than on Saturday. Rhys with 1335 and Ethan managed his first wold record status master bowman score with 1312.
