After a week off while the sports hall at Onchan was resurfaced, shooting resumed with a Vegasround. A little cruel perhaps but that is the Records Officer for you. Club Report 6th October 2024

An even dozen archers turned up at Onchan to face the next round of the Indoor season. The round in question was the dreaded WA18, the least favoured of the indoor rounds, unless your Rhys Moore who reserves his hatred for the Worcester because he finds it too easy. The Compounds shot the 3 spot … Continue reading Club Report 6th October 2024

With the summer, such as it was, crashing to a halt, Sunday’s Long Haul Trophy may well have been the last Outdoor shoot of the season. The weather was again unkind at the weekend with the morning session called off in advance and an assembly time of 1:30pm called instead. The Gents Recurve division provided the only … Continue reading Club Report 15th September 2024

Club Report 8th September 2024

After two halcyon days of summer the weather naturally took a turn for the worse when it came time for shooting. Sunday dawned bleak and cold as the island was battered by high winds, but while the boats were cancelled, a handful of archers turned up at Greeba because at least it wasn’t raining. The … Continue reading Club Report 8th September 2024
